Trent Edwards
It doesn't seem all that long ago, in fact just a little less than two years ago when Edwards was the efficient quarterback the Bills expected him to be after they selected him in the third round of the 2007 draft. Mel Kiper rated him as the third best quarterback in the draft behind JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn and Bill Walsh contacted Marv Levy to express his confidence in the young QB. In 2008 this young QA led the Bills to a 4-0 start and was picking apart defenses with precision and confidence. What happened? Did someone kidnap Edwards and replace him with a less skilled replica? No, folks. This is the same man and he has matured since that time. He will be the Bills QB in 2010 and I expect great things from him.


Marshawn Lynch
I was at the season opener back in 2007 (The Everett game) and I saw a back that had the Broncos Linebackers wanting to get off of the field because Lynch was such a hard runner. Inside and outside he was punishing tacklers with his low center of gravity and his ability to drive through tacklers. Fred stepped up his game last year and proved something, but I believe the Bills coaching staff will see that if they are really going after a fire and ice solution and C.J. Spiller is the ice, Lynch can be the fire. Jackson is similar to Spiller in that he has the ability to avoid tacklers. Lynch goes right at you. I believe he and Spiller better compliment each other.
